ससरस्वती शिशु मंदिर की स्थापना सन 1962 में हुई। श्री प्रेम प्रकाश सक्ससेना जी प्रथम प्रधानाचार्य रहें। प्रथम व्यवस्थापक श्री हरीश पांडेय जी थे, फिर श्रीमान ब्रह्मदेव शर्मा जी (भाई जी) के अथक प्रयासो से श्रीमती सावित्री पन्त धर्मपत्नी स्व० श्री जीवन पन्त जी ने सम्पूर्ण विद्यालय परिसर भवन सहित दान स्वरुप प्रदान किया।1967 से विद्यालय का अपना भवन है। श्रीमती सावित्री देवी जी की इच्छा थी की विद्यालय का नाम उनके पति के नाम पर हो तो श्री सोबन सिंह जीना द्वारा विद्यालय का नाम सरस्वती शिशु मंदिर जीवनधाम रखा गया।

Saraswati Shishu Mandir Jeevandham is wonderful school. They are preserving our Hindu Sankranti and conveying it to our new generation, our Kids. This is not just a school teaching theoretical knowledge, they teaches kids various Moral story daily, which promote kids to think in a positive learning and help becoming a great human being. This school organises various competition, science exhibition which promotes kids to think beyond the slate. Also I love the personal involvement of all the teachers toward kids especially Principal Madam Smt. Poonam Joshi ji. they even visit home of each children to connect and discuss children progress. They are so approachable and always in touch with the parents. Parents will be getting daily updates on what's app for all the class work and daily inspiration. They celebrate kids birthday by lighting Diya and pooja and also by planting a plant by the kids and inculcating environment sensitivity among them. My daughter joined this school in mid term due to my transfer to Almora and I am happy I chose this school for my Kid. THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR GOOD WORK
